Most people familiarized with the esoteric teachings of Malachi York would be shocked to know that the widely known occult leader once crooned his way up the charts with smooth R&B ballads. His literature, based on occult philosophy has rooted itself on a nationwide scale & he was the talk of religious debate among urban youth for years with his controversial ideology. Prior to his notoriety for quasi-masonic schools of thought he sang with lead singer of Blue Magic Ted Mills, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes and more.
