American history has never taught that during the late 1800s multiple states were led by a black government. History has also attempted to erase the fact that these blacks in power were removed by force, in fact it was the only successful military coup on the American government. During the time, racist white America started riots throughout the country and murdered citizens and politicians both because of the color of their skin. The biggest crime has taken place and nothing has been done about it other than museum exhibits and sculptures referencing key events. What happened to the arrests, where’s the compensation, how about restoring the order? White America continues to move forward as though they haven’t committed war crimes on American soil and broken their own laws.
Wilmington is one example of today’s politician’s turning the other cheek. We constantly hear political jargon that has little to do with anything of true substance. None of the Black politicians are raising these issues and bringing untold truths to the public eye. Are these people being voted in truly a representation of the thoughts and sentiments of the people they claim to advocate for? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilmington_insurrection_of_1898
The Colfax massacre is yet another instance in history that blacks were murdered in a quote unquote civilized society. Though history books speak of black people migrating for better jobs in the north during the Great Migration they fail to state that the true reason blacks were fleeing the south is because white militias were assassinating black senators, congressmen & black business men by the boatload. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colfax_massacre
Or how about the East St Louis massacre? This butchering of blacks lasted well over 100 years of methodically picking apart wherever they were progressing throughout the states. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_St._Louis_riots
Lets not forget the Perry race riot in 1922 when angry whites burned a Blackman named Charles Wright who was lynched and burned at the stake. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perry_race_riot
Keep in mind that most of these slaughters were happening after the alleged abolition of slavery. The massacres of blacks was so frequent with nothing being done that it would take at least twenty pages to note them in this article. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocoee_massacre
It was clearly a state by state design to rid the government and locals of any inkling of power coming from the black community. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa_race_massacre
Today’s black politician are clearly not the voice of black people in America. They are not speaking up for the crimes commited by both white government and citizens of this nation. They continue to allow white power mongers to oppress the black community and they should either resign or stand up for what is right. Enough marching, let’s see laws passed that truly reflect the values of our community. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosewood_massacre
Again, these events are after the so-called emancipation proclamation and reflect the betrayal of reconstruction. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynching_of_Sam_Hose
I have purposely left out a slew of massacres so that readers don’t grow overwhelmed by the subject matter. Please comment if you are interested in learning more pertaining to this issue and historic fact. Black people need to know that white people overthrew the black government of the united states illegally and they are quiet about it.
