In 1913 Black Indigenous American 12 Year Old Sarah Rector Became a Millionaire But History Never Told You!

Sara Rector (Creek Nation Aboriginal)

Born in 1902 Sarah Rector was allotted land that was eventually leased to Standard Oil Company & made her very wealthy. Because she was black she was assigned white guardians who would handle her money for her. On paper her ethnicity at the time was modified & she was declared white so that she could travel with her guardians without hassle. By Eighteen she was a millionaire. In her younger years the NAACP had concerns of her being deprived of good living by her caretakers because photos of her showed her dressed in raggedy clothes. She is an example of how mainstream America purposely removes certain black historic figures that might spark interest in the minds of black youth & inspire them to reach higher heights.

As an adult Sarah lived a lavish lifestyle and was married twice. The great depression of the 1930s caused to lose a large portion of her wealth. She died in 1967 leaving behind her children & a legacy that would be hidden from Black America for decades to come. Not only would they all be denied her history of wealth but the fact that she was indigenous and that there are hundreds of thousands of other black  aboriginal “Indians” they don’t want you to know about.
